We brought the car in for repair May 13,2008. Because of a couple of problems in the same circuit, the diagnostic work was tricky. The owner was very diligent to study carefully the parts involved and diagnostic tools need for this car, as it was not a regular model they work on. First, the AC fuse would constantly blow. The cause was determined to be a shorted pressure switch. In addition, an incorrect relay had been installed in this circuit by another shop, causing the 12 volt line to be closer to 18 volts. Replacement of both parts solved the problem, but had to be done in a proper order. When the car was ready to pick-up, we were leaving on a trip. The owner offered to hold the car until we returned. Upon our return, he called us on Memorial Day to open the shop and let us pick-up the car. We were impressed that it was washed, after storage. I've had an unpleasant experience with a dealer chasing down electrical problems in another car. In my view we paid a fair price to B&C Auto Center for excellent work and personal attention. We were kept in the loop throughout the job.
