I had an old F150 that I needed help diagnosing what was wrong with it. It turns out that there was a fair amount wrong with my truck. Although my wife and I decided not to repair the truck, that's not due to anything on the part of B&C Auto. I was contacted regularly by the staff. The items on the quote were all reasonable and fully explained. In the end it just turned out to be too expensive to fix my 28 year old truck. I would recommend and will be recommending B&C to others looking for a good auto shop.
B&C has done a great job servicing my car. From oil changes to brakes, transmission fluid - all the major and minor services. I can depend on my car because they go the extra mile to maintain rather than fix what is broken. Steve and Derek are very knowledgeable and even got the dealer to do one repair under warranty - even though my car was out of warranty. I am a repeat customer...and I don't even live in their neighborhood - they are worth the drive!
My car needed an oil change - so I dropped in at lunch time and they were able to fit me in! They also inspected my car - so I'm all good to go.... Thanks Steve & Derek!

I drove 30 minutes out of the way to bring my car to B&C because they are one of the only auto repair shops that I can say I trust 100% to make the right decisions. This time I took my car in and pretty much gave them a blank check to do whatever needed done because the car is approaching 100K miles and I want to use it for my daughters over the next few years. Even with that, they continually looked for ways to save money. That is uncommon in general, and in particular in the bay area where customer service at auto repair shops is basically non-existent.
